Baby Scott 20 weeks

So here we are, at the half way point!  It has already gone by so fast! 

Just 20 more weeks, and Tony and I will be parents!  WOW!  I've waited a long time for this to happen and I can't be more excited!!!

Yesterday we were able to see OUR little cupcake for the first time!

It was unbelievable!  What a miracle and a blessing!

Baby was being so good in the beginning of the ultrasound, the tech was able to get lots of pictures right away...then it was a little stinker!!!  Kicking back and moving just enough one way that getting a picture was tricky.  Super cool to see your baby's heart pump and for it to open and close it's month.  Pretty priceless!  So glad Tony was right there with me!

We are grateful that we will be parents to our little cupcake!

The tech said everything looks great!  Now we just have to wait to hear from the Dr.  Baby is about 13 oz and is measuring 4 days ahead.  Which I feel good about.  I was worried that it was going to be a little stinker!

Maternity clothes? still hanging on to my pre-baby clothes... we'll see how long I can last

Sleep: Sleeping good some nights, not every night

Miss Anything? Tony keeps talking about sushi... he needs to zip it!

Movement: Last Thursday I FINALLY felt it.  I was waiting for Tony to come home late from his job and there it was.  Now Baby has turned into a pro kick boxer.  WOW!  What a neat experience!

Food cravings: ICE Cream... my Dad is going to have a grandkid with the same sweet tooth as him

Anything making you queasy or sick: cold meat or leftovers

Best moment this week: Ann's pick- Ultrasound!!!  Tony's pick- Seeing the baby give a Tiger fist pump during the ultrasound

Have you started to show yet: Yep, the bump is rocking!

Gender prediction: at this point, we just want our baby to be healthy :)  We will be happy with whatever god has chosen for us

Looking forward to: This weekend I'm looking forward to celebrating my Birthday along with my Grandpa who will turn 95.  We share the same birthday.  I'm pretty lucky!  We are also celebrating my grandparents 70th wedding anniversary this weekend!  70 years!  That is pretty special!!!!

Last night going to bed...there was NO snow in the court yard! Nothing and now it's covered!  Hope the warm weather is on it's way, soon!

Baby Scott 19 Weeks

Welcome back!  Hope you all had a great week!

This week brings lots of painful body parts moving!!!  Oh the joys!

Excited for next week.  We have our ultrasound!  CAN'T wait!!!

Today in MN the sun was shinning and the temp was about 44 degree's outside.  The snow is almost melted.  There are still large pile from the plows.  But we are starting to see the brave soles out on their motorcycles!  

How far along? 19 Weeks 3 days

Maternity clothes? still hanging on to my pre-baby clothes... we'll see how long I can last 

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleeping good...dreams came back this week

Miss Anything? Nothing to bad this week

Movement: Nothing major.  Dr said it could take up to 22 weeks to feel the movement.  I hope it is sooner than later.  I can forsure feel the movement of my body changing...OUCH!

Food cravings: Pie, Cupcakes, Mambo's, Sour Patch Kids, Chocolate...I found myself on the food channel today watching a show title "sweets"... yeah that wasn't a good idea!!!  

Anything making you queasy or sick: cold meat or leftovers

Best moment this week: Knowing that the baby can now hear us talking and can hear music.  Tony LOVES music, so I hope baby will too!  

Have you started to show yet: Yep, the bump is rocking!

Looking forward to: April will be a very busy month with LOTS of celebrations!  This weekend kicks off 1 of 3 parties we have.  Excited to see my Aunt Barb at Brittani's bridal shower on Sunday.  I haven't seen her since Christmas, and since then, we got engaged and found out about baby!  It will be great to see her again!

Sleep: Sleeping good...actually, I could use a nap right about now!

Miss Anything? sushi :(  Looking forward to our trip to
Charleston to have great seafood!  Hopefully that will take the edge off!

Movement: There's a "maybe" I felt it.  Monday afternoon at my parents I felt a little something and then yesterday it came back with a lot more movement... so maybe!!!  or it was just gas...

Food cravings: SWEETS!

Anything making you queasy or sick: public bathrooms are worse now... gross!!!

Best moment this week: This afternoon I was able to spend time with my mom.  She talked about when she was pregnant and heard great stories!  Love those times!

Gender prediction: Still split between boy and girl...weird, I know... I have a 50/50 chance at being right...

Baby Scott 17 Weeks

Hello, Hello, Hello!

Another Week!  They go so fast!

Today is March 24th, 1st week of spring, and there is still a lot of snow!  Ready for it to melt!

How far along? 17 Weeks

Maternity clothes? I just purchased my 1st dress/shirt this week.  I hope that it will last me through the Spring :)  

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleeping really good this week- crazy dreams!!!  Very Crazy... they are typically always about having a baby. 

Miss Anything? not to bad this week

Movement: Not yet... Hopefully SOON!

Food cravings: still sweets and Ice cream... I could use a DQ treat right about now!!!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Still the smell of meat cooking.  But it is getting better!

Best moment this week: I had a Dr appt on Tuesday and heard the heart beat again.  That's so cool!  It took a while for the Dr. to find the baby.  It's still on the higher side.   Doc said everything is going well.  Ultrasound is on April 10th.  And early birthday present for me!

Baby Scott Week 16

Hello Everyone!
Hope you all had a great week.
Here is a little update from 16 weeks!
Today in MN it was snowing yet again.  It's March 15th and a year ago it was 60   We are all pretty sick of the snow and ice.  Looking forward to spring and summer, that's for sure!

How far along? 16 Weeks, 3 Days
Maternity clothes? having a hard time fitting into before baby clothes and Maternity.  Everything in maternity is too big for me and I'm about to pop out of my before baby clothes.  Looking forward to spring and summer so I can wear dresses and not have to worry about it!
Stretch marks? No
Sleep: Sleeping really good this week
Miss Anything? Sushi craving came back...
Movement: Not yet... Hopefully SOON!
Food cravings: VELATA- oh boy.  I was never one to like chocolate or even dark chocolate before Baby Scott.  But now, I can't get enough of it.  Strawberries and apples are my favorite with the Caramel Milk chocolate.  Good thing I sell it and have plenty of stock of chocolate.  Also, new this week...cole slaw, at night is when that one hits me...around 10pm, lovely!
Anything making you queasy or sick: Still the smell of meat cooking.  But it is getting better!
Best moment this week: Tony took a big personal life step.  Baby and I are so proud of him!!!  We love you so much Tony!
Have you started to show yet: Yep- it's there.  Harder to hide from people we haven't told yet, because we haven't seen them.
Gender prediction: I don't know anymore.  It changes once I talk to people!

Baby Scott 15 weeks

Week 15 or 3.66 months or 105 day, oh baby you have grown!

It's crazy to see how fast things have gone already!  We just want to thank everyone for all of the kind words and encouragement that you have shown us.  We are so lucky to have such great friends and family!  We look forward to welcoming the baby and we know if will be loved by so many!!!  Thank you!

Have you started to show yet: So last week and early this week, by ribcage was hurting.  This week, the "growing" belly moved up...so now I understand why things were hurting

Baby Scott 14 weeks

Hello Everyone!
Hope you all had a great week!  Today in Minnesota it is 19 degrees and SUNNY!   Which to us is a nice sneak peek of SPRING!  We hope that you all have a great weekend!!!

Sleep: Sleeping ok, Last night was up from about 1:30-4:30am- I must be getting ready for when baby comes
Best moment this week: Today I was able to have lunch with some great friends from Marco.  It's great to see each other again and to catch up!

Miss Anything? last night we went to the Blueline and Noel's beer looked really good!
Movement: Not yet... Hopefully SOON!
Food cravings: Popsicles this week and pears
Anything making you queasy or sick: the smell of Egg's got me this morning...yuk!
Have you started to show yet: I'm starting to feel my body change and I can totally see the difference.   My lower ribcage area is really sore the last two days...weird.
