Welcome Baby Scott

Hello Everyone!

We would love for you to meet Harlow Louise Scott!  Harlow and parents are doing great!  We just love her so much already!

I thought I went into labor on Friday night, went to the hospital around 9pm, and then sent home around midnight.  We went home and was there for about an hour...we turned back around and were in the ER by 1:00am.  Then, I was officially in labor.  By 2:15am I was comfortable and moving right along.  7:50am we welcomed our little baby girl! Tony and I couldn't be more proud!

Harlow is healthy and such a great baby.  Nacho met Harlow on Monday afternoon and is not too sure about her little sister.  It might take a few weeks for this to set in for Nacho.

Thank you to everyone who sent text, FB messages with their love and support during the last few weeks while we were waiting for our sweet girl! !  We are so lucky to have family and friends like you!


Thank you TONY!  Harlow, Nacho and I are SO lucky to have you!  You are going to make a GREAT daddy! Thank you!  I love you!

Baby Scott 40 weeks

Well-  Here we are- 40 weeks.  I never thought I would make it this far.  Just a  few weeks ago the Dr. just wanted me to get to 37 weeks... and now a month later, we made it!  The full 40 weeks and then some.

We had a Dr appointment this morning.  Everything is going well.  We have a great plan for next Tuesday!  If baby doesn't come on it's own...then we will start to help it!  Sept 3rd could be Baby Scott's Birthday!  or it could come on Auntie Kim's Birthday on Sept 1st... and wouldn't that be crazy if we go into labor on Labor Day.... wouldn't that be something...

Little Baby Scott

How far along? 40 Weeks 3 days

Maternity clothes? mostly Maternity

Stretch marks? Nope

Sleep: This week has been a little tough.  I've had to get up to pee more often than usual.  I think it is getting me ready for night feedings :)

Miss Anything? just about everything.  

Movement: It's got to be getting tight in there.  Movement is a little less than what it used to be.  Dr said that was very typical! 

Food cravings: Anything and Everything!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Taco's or anything beef

Best moment this week:  This is a hard one...My mind has been on Baby all week...wondering when it will come into this world.  

Gender prediction: One day I'm thinking girl, then someone random person will ask, "when is that baby boy due"... so I have no clue  

Labor Signs: Some- they just don't last.  We have an induction date set- Tuesday Sept 3rd will be the day if baby doesn't come on it's own this weekend!

Wedding rings on or off? I have to put it on right away in the morning...or it doesn't go on

Happy or Moody most of the time: Mood swings are about gone, but still emotional, happy and excited more than anything!

Looking forward to: 4 more days until I get to hold my baby!!!!  We can't wait!

This is the LAST time going to the Dr withOUT a baby!  Last prenatal check up 8-30-13!!!  Next time we are at this building, we will have a baby!!!!  Excited!!! 

Baby Scott 39 Weeks

Hello Everyone!

This is going to be short and sweet... NO Baby yet...

Thanks for all of the kind text's, voicemails, and thoughts that are being sent our way.  We will keep everyone posted once Baby Scott makes it's arrival.    

I can't believe we made it this far.  Happy because there are LOTS of development that happens with the baby in the last 3 weeks, but kind of sad, that the weekly updated will be coming to an end.

Little Baby Scott

How far along? 39 Weeks 6 days

Maternity clothes? mostly Maternity- now I'm not fitting into most of my shirts...the bump sticks out the bottom.  That has got to be Hot!

Stretch marks? Nope

Sleep: I sleep pretty well.  Each night when I go to sleep I wonder...will I get to sleep through the night or will we be driving to the hospital at 3am?

Miss Anything? sitting in the SUN by the pool...

Movement: Still having lots of movement.  The kicks and pushes are getting to be VERY strong!  

Food cravings: Fruit this week- Peaches and Pineapple :)

Anything making you queasy or sick: Taco's or anything beef

Best moment this week:  Getting more ready in the baby's room.  We now have everything we need taken care of. 

Gender prediction: No clue.  

Labor Signs: I wish I was having more of them.  We have an appointment tomorrow, Monday, so we'll see where we are at.

Now we only have 2 days to go!  I made the board earlier in the week and didn't have time to take the picture.

Baby Scott 38 Weeks

15...14...13...12...11...10!!!

The count down has begun!  We are so close to having this baby, but yet 10 days if not longer!!!
I really didn't think that I would go this long.  I thought forsure I would go early... guess not!  Baby is making up it's own mind.  I use I have to start to get used to that!

I'm starting to get VERY uncomfortable.  Can't bend down to pick something up off the floor...having a very hard time sitting or standing at any length of time... the stairs in our appt are KILLER!  Oh the things you do for your baby!

Next Dr appt is Wednesday Aug 21st- which is also the next FULL moon... I have heard crazy stories about full moon babies!!!  So you never know!
We are also getting close to Tony's Birthday, August 25th, which he would love for the baby to be born on his birthday... but we'll see!!!

How far along? 38 Weeks 5 days

Maternity clothes? mostly Maternity

Stretch marks? Nope- I'm pretty proud of this!

Sleep: getting lots of it.  The advice that I hear is to rest up as much as you can before baby comes

Miss Anything? nothing extra special this week.  

Movement: Still having lots of movement which is very uncomfortable these days.  Baby has got to be running out of room.  

Food cravings: SWEETS!  Lemon Meringue Blizzard from the DQ was my treat of the week!  YUM!

Anything making you queasy or sick: Taco's or anything beef

Best moment this week:  Tonight since we are not having a baby we are headed to Brainerd to hang out with great friends!  Looking forward to just having some laughs and relaxing!

Gender prediction: No clue.  

Labor Signs: Contractions are starting to come on...but they don't last very long.- Still the same this week- this are starting to move...just not fast enough

Nacho wanted to help...but the chalk board paint wasn't dry...so that's where there are little spot of PINK everywhere!  She also has chalk board paint on her paw and tail.  She is so helpful!

Baby Scott 37 Weeks

We are coming close to the end!

This week was challenging... we tried to get the baby rooms set up, but someone had a different plan.  But step by step we will get there... Hopping tonight we can get the crib set up and the baby's room in a little bit of an order!!!

Thank you to all of the wonderful family and friends that were able to make it to my baby shower last weekend!  It was great seeing everyone!  We are truly blessed with great people in our lives!  Tony and I, Thank you!

Sleep: Dreaming like crazy this past week.  Kevin Garrnett, Basketball player, was my Dr.  I think I need to stop referring to my belly as a basketball :)

Miss Anything? The typical things. I could have really gone for a nice cold beer on Thursday night!

Movement: Lots and lots of movement- Big ripples and man it feels funny

Food cravings: Frosted flakes, powered sugar donuts, cinnamon rolls were all purchased this week...

Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing that I can think of 

Best moment this week:  back to measuring right on to the week!!!  Yea, but that also means I've put on more weight too... 

Gender prediction: No clue.  

Labor Signs: Contractions are starting to come on...but they don't last very long.  Just one tight belly

Baby Scott 36 Weeks

Hello and Happy Day to you!

The weeks are flying by and we ONLY have 4 weeks left before Baby is Due!!!  Wow- it feels like yesterday that we just found out we are having a baby!  

We were so lucky to have Allison Olmscheid take maternity photos this past weekend.  We had so much fun!  Allison and I met 7 years ago when she was a junior in High School on the Sartell Dance Team and I was her coach.  Coaching and teaching dance has brought so many amazing people in my life.   Coaching to me was never about the WIN, to me is was more about the team of ladies I was surrounded with.  I was able to inspire young women and watch them grow into amazing adults!  That to be was and is the best part of coaching, the kids!  Allison was the 1st one to give me the thumbs up on Tony the 1st day he meet the team.  I will never forget that day!!!  

 Allison is a true blessing and is SO talented!!!  She was able to capture 170 some pictures of my little bump!  Thank you Allison, both Tony and I love the pictures!!!  We couldn't be happier with how they turned out!  I'm so lucky to have you as a friend!

How far along? 36 Weeks 3 days

Maternity clothes? mostly Maternity

Stretch marks? Nope- I'm pretty proud of this!

Sleep: Dreams are coming back and I have about 5 pillows around me just to make it comfy!

Miss Anything? Being able to take long walks at night with Tony.  I'm not able to make it very far anymore.

Movement: Lots and lots of movement

Food cravings: SWEETS!  It's really bad this week!  And Cheetoe's.  YUM!

Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing that I can think of this week- but my nose is still strong as ever and I can smell everything really well!  So thankful Scentsy still smells good to me!!!

Best moment this week:  Walking in to my Dr appt this week with only 4 more weeks to go.  I'm still measuring small but Dr is totally ok with that because of my size.   I'm totally ok with not having a 8 pound baby :)  Baby is around 5 1/2lbs to 6lbs right now.

Gender prediction: No clue.  

Labor Signs: Contractions every once in a while. 

Belly Button in or out? It's like me little timer...each day it pops out a little more

Wedding rings on or off? Just now, it is hard to push on, but I can get it on

Happy or Moody most of the time: Very emotional... 

Looking forward to: My Baby Shower is this weekend!  I'm so looking forward to seeing my friends and family!  I hope I have enough time to chat with everyone!!! Super excited that most of Tony's family will be taking the trip to come as well!!!  I can't wait to meet Mr. Cooper and to see everyone!!!

Baby Scott 35 Weeks

Hello and Happy DAY to you!  Hope you are having a great week!  Thanks for coming back to my blog!  When I started this blog back in February, I didn't realize how much fun and how much I would like doing a blog.  It is work and sometimes we rush to take the pictures, but I'm so glad I did it and I have the pictures to go back and to look at!  Now that we are coming close to an end, I'll have to think of another fun topic to blog about!  Looking back you can really see the changes that have happened in the last 8 months!

How far along? 35 Weeks 2 days---- only 34 more days to go!!!

Maternity clothes? mostly Maternity

Stretch marks? Nope- I'm pretty proud of this!

Sleep: this week has been so so.  One night I went to the sofa because I just couldn't get comfortable.

Miss Anything? This week I would have to say, I want my body back...Don't get me wrong, I love carrying a big basketball in my tummy, but my back is killing me!  I can only sit at my desk for a short period of time before I have sharp pain's in my back and above my ribcage.  

Movement: Lots and lots of movement

Food cravings: Ben and Jerry's- Midnight snack and A&W watermelon shushes!!!  YUM!!! I wish I could have a shushes machine at my house!!!

Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing that I can think of this week- but my nose is still strong as ever and I can smell everything really well!  So Thankful Scentsy still smells good to me!!!

Best moment this week:  Getting more things ready for the baby and getting a letter yesterday from the clinic that everything is normal from our ultrasound last Thursday!   #doubleYAY!

Gender prediction: No clue.  I keep saying "him" when we talk about baby... but then I also say "her" or we talk to Nacho about her Sister coming to stay with her.

Labor Signs: nothing this week, so far!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Very emotional... 

Looking forward to: I'm dying to know what we are going to have.  A little Baby Boy or a little Baby Girl!  I think I will be finding out for the next baby we have.  This is way harder on me than I would have ever thought!

Baby Scott 34 Weeks

Hello Everyone!  It's July 18th and it is 93 degrees out right now and the dew point is 64 degrees in MN...yuk.  We are hoping for some rain to come in and cool it down a little.  I'm sitting in the AC with my feet up.  I hope everyone is having a great week!

Last week we had a great time in Indy at the Scentsy Family Reunion/convention.  They surprised us with SO much new stuff for all 3 brands...it's like starting the business all over again!  Tony and I have a new drive and are ready to stay on the course and push ahead!!!
If you are not on my Business Facebook pages, (Scentsy/GA or Velata) Please like them so you can see all of the new stuff!!!  New Scentsy Catalog out Sept 1st.  New Grace Adele Catalog out August 1st and don't forget about Velata, New Catalog out Oct 1st.  We didn't even see the new catalog yet for Velata...they have us on pins and needles until Sept 1st!!!  OH boy, I hope it's awesome!!!


Baby news- On Monday I had a baby appointment and found out that I'm measuring 2 weeks behind where I should be.  So today, we had an ultrasound.  Baby is growing and is right on track of where it should be, actually a day ahead of my due date.  AS of now, Baby is 5lbs on the dot.  Heart rate is in the 150's and as of today, everything looks ok.  We haven't heard back from the Dr as of yet, which to me is a good thing.  So just more eating, more water, more rest for the next 6 weeks to try to cook this little cupcake until it's ready to come out.

The cool part about the ultrasound today is that we were able to see where baby is and what it has been up to.  It has chubby cheeks, some hair, feet are about 7cm long, hands are cupped together by it's face and baby likes to push its bootie up and out and kick it's legs straight out!  I mean, why stay curled up in a ball...there lots of room in mommy's tummy!!!  Daddy's little golfer is working on it's stretches already.

Prayer are always welcomed our way!  Here's to baking the little cupcake a little longer!!!  Thanks for all of the support and text messages today!  I was a nervous wreak since Monday....

Sleep: Out like a light.. I love my naps too!!!

Miss Anything? I'm past the point of all of the stuff that you think I would want.  It's been so long...I wonder what a Mountain Dew would take like right about now?  I'm hoping that it will be gross so that I don't want one after baby... No caffeine since early January... that is a LONG time for me!!!

Movement: Lots of movement.  Today at the Ultrasound baby had it's legs straight out and just a kicking away on my left side.  I now know what I'm pushing on when I get a good kick.

Food cravings: Nothing too bad this week.  Sweet are still my fav!!!

Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing that I can think of this week

Best moment this week:  Finding out Keith (Tony's brother) and Kelsey are having a BOY!!!!  They are Due Dec 4th!  The grandchildren on the Scott side is getting a bit boy heavy.  9 grandchildren... 1 unknown (ours) 1 little sweet girl and now 7 BOYS!!!  WOWZERS!!!!  

Gender prediction: We were strong and didn't find out again today at the ultrasound.  The tech said she would tell us...I had her turn off the screen so I wouldn't look...man it's so close...I just want to know!!!

Labor Signs: Some contractions, but they go away after I sit down for a while... that goodness!

Happy or Moody most of the time: Very emotional... I see or hear of a good story...I cry... 

Looking forward to: Working on getting the baby's room set up.  It's been a slow process.  We are taking my office and making it the baby's room.  Bit by bit each day it gets a little better and more done.  I'm hoping next week to get the larger items...like a crib, dressers, rocker all in place.  Then it will feel like we are ready...

Baby Scott 32 Weeks

Happy DAY!


Hope you are having a great day!  Baby is growing and everything is going well!  Summer can be such a busy time for those of us who live in MN when we only get about 3 months of great weather!  We tend to slam everything in to these months.  So my post are fewer than normal...

Slowly but surly we are getting ready for the arrival of Baby Scott!  We have been working with Nacho on where she can and can not take a cat nap, we say BABY a whole lot more around her, hoping that she will be ok once baby comes homes!

We are having Dr appt about every two weeks.  Baby and I are measuring right on track and the heart beat is fast and strong!  Soon we will go every week until the baby has a birthday!

How far along? 32 Weeks 6 days

Maternity clothes? mostly Maternity

Stretch marks? No, not at this point :)

Sleep: the last two weeks have been good.  I hope it continues!

Miss Anything? sitting on the floor and being able to get up, the stairs are still killer and with the heat...yuk!!! 

Movement: TONS of movement.  Nothing like seeing your stomach get stretched out and in ways I never thought were possible by the little person!

Food cravings: Nothing too bad this week. Onion Rings sounds good and it's only 8:30am in the morning...

Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing that I can think of this week

Best moment this week:  We have had a few these past two weeks!  My Brother, Brent and Sister in law, Kim welcomed their baby girl, Tenely Ann on 6-28-13.  She is so cute and I'm totally in love with her!  My little nephew Nathan Celebrated his 1st birthday on July 6th!  He is such a pumpkin and we are so lucky to have him in our lives!  Love him to pieces!!!!  Baby Cooper came home from the hospital about a weeks ago and is doing well!  LOTS of GREAT moments with our families these past two weeks!  I can't wait to meet Cooper... just a few more weeks!

Gender prediction: No clue.  I purchased some items at a craft sale, that are SUPER cute- I hope we get to use them! 

Labor Signs: No

Happy or Moody most of the time: I've had really bad mood swing lately!  I've had enough of the hormones! 

Looking forward to: This week we travel for our Scentsy Convention!  This will be the baby's first one!    It will be nice to spend time with my Scentsy Family that will gather from all across the US in one spot!  We hope we get to see everyone!!! Scentsy will also revel the NEW catalogs for fall/winter for all 3 brands!!!  Can't wait to share it with all of you next week when we get back!!!

Baby Scott 30 weeks

Hello and happy weekend is near!  We hope you had a great week so far!

The weather here in MN is great.  We have finally hit some hot days.  80's to 90's for the weekend!  Now if I need to find a swimsuit with coverage so I can use our pool before baby comes! 

Cooper, our little nephew that was born last week, 5 weeks early, is doing much better in the last two days.  He is breathing on his own.  Had his first feeding was this week and he is being such a little fighter!  So happy that he will be able to go home soon to be with mom, dad and big bro and big sis!  So grateful he is doing better!  I just can't wait to hold him!!!! 

How far along? 30 Weeks 5 days

Maternity clothes? mostly

Stretch marks? No

Sleep: Sleep- you mean baby play time... It has started to become very uncomfortable

Miss Anything? Sushi and being able to tie my tennis shoes... that's a work out! 

Movement: TONS of movement.  I think baby is up and kicking more than sleeping

Food cravings: Sweets and if anyone talks about food... then I want we are talking about

Anything making you queasy or sick: nothing that I can think of this week

Best moment this week:  All of the movement has been crazy but yet it is fun to see.  

Gender prediction: I went and googles old wives tales... I'm about 40/60 towards one way... Which do you think it is??? 

Labor Signs: No- but, Braxton hicks contractions are NO FUN!!!! 

Belly Button in or out? I spoke to soon... Each day it get a little worse

Wedding rings on or off? On

Happy or Moody most of the time: Sad then happy, excited then sad... Wow these hormones are crazy! 

Looking forward to: this weekend we have dinner plans with great friends who are also having a baby!!!  And my little cousin's grad party!  Crazy to see boys all grown up.  Just 1 of 5 still in high school!
